Play Like a Girl

My Community Engagement Initiate was a project focused on raising funds for breast cancer research and care at the Royal Hospital.

 

During the month of May, I sought out community prize partners and designed promotional materials for a mega raffle event.

Our efforts were not in vain, as we were able to generate significant funds for this important cause.

We also partnered with the Randwick Netball Association for their annual 'Play Like a Girl' Pink Round, as part of our Mother's Day Initiative.

The club, with its 5000 members, raised a total of $11,136 in vital funds for breast cancer research and care. I am proud to have brought new fundraising and member opportunities to the Royal and to continue to making a difference in the fight against breast cancer
