Souths Juniors to turn purple and raise awareness for The Royal in SSDRL first Purple Round
 

16 clubs, 196 teams and 3233 players in the South Sydney District JRFL sported purple socks on July 16 and 17 In their first ever Purple Round for The Royal.

The round rallied players, officials and supporters together to shine a light on the essential role that The Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick, plays in women’s and neonatal health.

A whopping $15,316.20 was raised in their Round 12 and brought a fun and purple atmosphere to various footy grounds around South East Sydney treating young football families and fans to the ‘Ultimate Purple Sports Day’.
